1 edit | Rant -Verizon CS This evening I called Verzion CS for assistance with Thunderbird after I received a Verizon email about changes in email ports. Verizon said they couldn't help me since they don't support Thunderbird. Well KMA Verizon. |
 | I wouldn't expect them to support Thunderbird. I'd be impressed if they supported Outlook. |

 | reply to Traxless Did you google "FiOS" and "Thunderbird"?
I got at least 6 hits on the first page talking about how to configure... |
 | In frustration, I gave Senor Google a call and found the solution to my issue. I suppose I should ask Verizon for a discount since my account doesn't seem to qualify for customer service!
And so it goes. |

| Why should they help you? Just get the ports, servers, authentication methods, and setup the mail client from the thunderbird help. I can take the information from another programs configuration, and just apply that to thunderbird, it's that simple.
