<description><![CDATA[Network Guy posted : There is infrastructure to maintain and expand if need be. There is a bottom line that needs to be met. It's not like they can offer service out of thin air. Wholesale bandwidth costs may be declining, but gear still costs money, and a lot. And considering that FiOS is maybe six years old at most, I'd say Verizon is still paying off that bill to make it happen.<br><br>But yea. This is consumerism at it's best. Competition determines demand, and demand determines pricing.]]></description>
