[FireFox] ESC key no longer stops animated avatars

randavis 74 Challenger 440 4bbl join:2000-01-19 Blue Springs, MO	[FireFox] ESC key no longer stops animated avatars I have noticed that my ESC key no longer stops the animated avatars on these forums. Some of them are really annoying. Is this something new in FF 20? I am running the betas. I believe I am up to 20.0 b2. Or is this due to some other update for Windows? I am running Vista 64bit. -- IUOE Local 101

chachazz Premium join:2003-12-14 kudos:7	It's been removed in Firefox 20 (see Bug 614304). SuperStop with shift+esc should do the same.

NotHereNow @verizon.net	If you only want to block some of them--permanently, then you can use Adblock Plus to block specific avatars (or all of them). Other ad/image blockers may work as well. You could also just use some CSS to do it (takes some coding, preferably using Stylish).

randavis 74 Challenger 440 4bbl join:2000-01-19 Blue Springs, MO	I have used Adblock Plus to block many of the most annoying ones. My custom filters list is getting rather large. The extent of my coding experience was "Hello World" in Visual Basic many years ago. I just don't have the time to learn it, and at 60, I am not as motivated as I used to be. I installed the SuperStop ad-in and it seems to do what I need. -- IUOE Local 101
