| How long did it take for your cable to be activated in QC? Hey guys,
Just want to see what the other folks in Quebec had as far as experience goes when their cable internet got set up. I asked for a morning install today between 7:30 - noon. Sure enough the guy showed up and did the wiring. He left afterwards because his instructions were to leave the rest up to me once the cabling was done.
Now, of course, I have a connection that's not working (as of 6pm), but I was told by tech that the activation of my connection could be done anytime during the day, hence I can't do squat until midnight tonight. Wouldn't have hurt to call Videotron just to check that I was in the system for activation today, that was a let-down as far as customer service goes especially after all the hell I went through recently.
Did the same thing happen to you guys? I'm already starting to be worried that I'm going to end up with yet ANOTHER problematic internet connection.

The modem is a DCM 425. The Internet and PC Link are steadily blinking.
Cable Link and Cable Activity are not lit up or blinking. |
