 | [Cable] current upload of cable What's is the current upload of TekSavvy/Rogers cable with a D3 modem? |
|
 | a mind blowing, MASSIVE and HUGE
1 megabit
welcome to 1995 have a nice stay |
|
 | reply to bjlockie I keep joking about how I can barely get 1 (mbps) up... |
|
 | reply to bjlockie I had hoped Rogers had raised it. |

TypeS join:2012-12-17 London, ON kudos:1 | Rogers upgraded the 18/512 and 28/1 profiles to 25/2 and 35/3. They won't let TekSavvy cable accounts have it until they're on the new APOI network. Marc has said they're working to get it done as soon as possible. |

 | I was just wondering about this myself... Was going to upload my music collection to Google Music and then I realized I was living in Canada (1mbit would probably take weeks, not to mention when you max that out, it slows down your entire connection so other people in the household can't even browse the internet). These mindblowingly low upload rates makes cloud storage near pointless... Unless of course, you're dealing with documents that rarely go over a few mB.
Welcome to 1995, indeed. |

 | Thankfully, we'll hopefully have access to the 45/7 tier in a few months. |
|
 | unlikely because it doesn't exist |
|
 | reply to bjlockie I don't know why Teksavvy (Rogers connection) only offers up to 1mbps upload speed when Teksavvy (Videotron) offered 3mbps upload speed in comparison for a long time.
Kind of feel sorry for you Ontario folks. |
