 | [LA] Why are certain cable channels so fuzzy? SYFY, AMC, USA and others are more fuzzy than other channels? Channels that are higher and lower than those are fine? Is there an issue with those networks and COX? Are they just as fuzzy on digital tv? They also look fuzzy on other friends tvs too, so It's not just me. |

I have rebooted, refreshed, etc....to no avail. |

Changed to digital and every channel was superb. I think COX wants everybody to switch to digital and so doesn't care about fixing the fuzzy analog system.

 | reply to JeffinNOLA I also think the newest TV's are more sensitive to noise, but look fantastic with digital and HD digital. I just don't feel like paying for a DVR and/or a cable box. |
|
 | PS: Some TV's have better noise reduction than others. |

 | reply to JeffinNOLA Tonight the stations look a little clearer. Must have been something going on. |

wistlo join:2003-01-04 New Orleans, LA | reply to JeffinNOLA Are the analog channels being upscaled to 1080 or 720 vertical resolution, the standards for most flat screen televisions? Standard old broadcast TV had 520 lines (or so, see link). The upscaling process would explain fuzziness.
