I don't understand - why does a billion dollar company who said there will not be a fee to join or use their services?

Spam is a very ineffective way of advertising. It works because it is dirt cheap. Send out a few zillion spam message, and that costs so little that if only one person in 100,000 responds you can still drum up business.
The $5.00 fee will discourage spam because it is not dirt cheap. There are more effective ways of spending $5.00. -- AT&T Uverse; Buffalo WHR-300HP router (behind the 2wire gateway); openSuSE 12.3 RC2; firefox 19.0 |
