[Cable] Issues with modem? Signal issues?

Fellas I am still having issues with cod. When I had Rogers I was all fine and dandy. Issue is with blops 2. For the life of me I can't seem to configure this right I tried connecting straight modem to ps3 using Ethernet bypassing the router to see if the router is the problem. My issue is I cannot get into matchmaking in cod. I hav teksavvy 28/1 unlimited in the Vic park and and danforth area. What could be the problem? My download and everything is fine just gaming is the issue.

Port forwarding. But maybe this is a sign telling you to stay away from all the bad CoDs in the past few years and go back to some of the classics?

Then it's probably a routing issue rather than NAT, isn't it?
