Downside - they are generally more expensive than a MTS, even when you include the labor, material, and permits. They also look funny and stick out.
The benefit to these is they are quick, generally accepted, no permit required, and you often do not need to be home for the install.
If someone refers to herself / himself as a "guru", they probably aren't.
