exocet_cmI am the law - Judge DreddPremium join:2003-03-23 New Orleans, LA kudos:2 | Modify WSUS notification DAY Is there a way to modify the WSUS email notification day? I see frequency, send reports at (time), recipients, but no day. It hasn't ever been an issue but now that I have three WSUS servers reporting statuses, I would like to have them all on the same day (not Monday, Thursday, and Friday).
I'm sure there is something in the registry but I can't find anything and my Google searching turned up negative results. -- "All newspaper editorial writers ever do is come down from the hills after the battle is over and shoot the wounded." - Bruce Anderson "I have often regretted my speech, never my silence." - Xenocrates

 | reply to exocet_cm When defining a weekly status report the *day* chosen is based on the day the status report request was created. Almost certainly this option is stored in the database, and not modifiable by the end-user (well, not in any MS supported fashion).
However, one thing to try ... disable the status reports completely, then re-enable the status report. This should reset the creation day of the status report and allow you to specify the day it is generated. |

Otherwise I'll try this.
Feels like an oversight on Microsoft's part. -- "All newspaper editorial writers ever do is come down from the hills after the battle is over and shoot the wounded." - Bruce Anderson "I have often regretted my speech, never my silence." - Xenocrates

This is on 2008R2 Thanks. I dug through the SQL database but couldn't find anything. This seems to be the only available option. -- "All newspaper editorial writers ever do is come down from the hills after the battle is over and shoot the wounded." - Bruce Anderson "I have often regretted my speech, never my silence." - Xenocrates
