It was cheaper to get a US plan and make all your calls in canada, then it was to get a Canadian plan and roam in the US. Pathetic.

So does JF in the following comment. The link you posted also indicates the CBC was a bit disingenuous as well as the customer never got charged anything close to $22000 before adjustments.
