 Hayward K A R - 1 2 0 CPremium join:2000-07-13 Key West, FL kudos:1 1 edit | For web activities they are plenty capable. And with 1000's of Apps out there now are even capable of most basic and even intermediate PC functions.
The only thing they are not real good for is if you are heavy into complex stuff like Photoshop, and audio/video production.
Also this assumes you are talking Android, and not the highly by design crippled iPad. But since posting here I imagine you are. iPad is OK for web stuff too, but very limited in the real PC functions.
Also if you plan to sub it for a computer I would definitely suggest you go for a 10" one. --

| Well, based on your stated usage, a tablet could do just fine. I could not get by on a tablet alone, but my wife spends 85% or more of her "computer time" on her tablet now days, mainly using her laptop for paying bills, etc. Even much of that could be done on the tablet. -- Deeds, not words |
