kudos:5 | Can I run dishwasher if disposal stopped working? I can't get down to use the allen wrench to try fix disposal. Twisted my knee last fall and still can't bend properly. Friend is supposed to come over to get disposal working again.
Question: Can I run dishwasher with disposal in "stuck mode." They are hooked together.

Yes. A disposal is not a requirement for the dishwasher to work. |

kudos:7 | Just keep an eye and make sure it keeps draining. Anything the dishwasher discharges should already be small enough to pass through the disposal, but it could backup if things have a chance to accumulate before it gets fixed. |
