True dat. |

said by Rickkins Same here. I'm expecting a mass migration once the rates are announced... It's sad to say but this is true. I was thinking into getting bell FTTH 50/50 as it's available in my appartment but been holding off to see the rates first. Seems I'll have to get it then depending on Bell's rate. =/ |

Actually, everything is available at my place, but we can always hope. I wonder if the Youtube issue is on Bell's side too... |

That's actually not as bad as I had expected. I will wait to see Bell's rates... but I wouldn't mind switching to 20 with 300 Gigs... it's just slightly higher than the damn price we're paying Bell right now for a 6 Mbps that can barely hit 4 + stupid dry loop |

They probably still have copper DSL available in the building as well as bell can't rip it out but if it is FTTH Bell does not resell it to anyone. |

Graah, the suspense for the Bell rates is killing me! |

Yeah but the important one was unlimited. The unlimited usage during the night is useless to me because I do my big stuff while I'm awake when I stream stuff or download games... I'm not going to set up the alarm to download games on Origin or Steam in the middle of the night.
I know it's not your fault but never in my wildest dreams did I think the CRTC would make the cable companies charge more for resellers.
Will the fees to change plans be waived for one switch because of these prices? At these prices I might go to 60mbps 300gb if I'm forced forget unlimited. |

Overall those prices aren't so bad. I suspect that people truly requiring unlimited are a minority - and the unlimited time window should get quite a few of them covered. Hoping that wholesale prices will follow this same trend (I work for a wholesaler). |

When does these prices/plans will be available? I want to change to 60Mbits!! Also, does the cable bandwidth tool check on the webpage will exclude the 2am to 8am downloads? |

Could you add upload speeds like in the Rogers thread? Or are they missing cause there's no change? |

said by chaseme:Could you add upload speeds like in the Rogers thread? Or are they missing cause there's no change? Videotron will be upgrading their upload speeds in mid-April. I assume that's why MArc isn't announcing the official speeds yet, since at this point it's unknown whether those new prices will be effective before, or after the upload increase. |

I'm not really sure what they are. Whatever they are though, unless the download speeds change.. I dont see our rates changing. |

Unlimited off peak for cable. For real? |

I don't get it... you charge $10 more for my plan(20 mbps with 75gig) but reduce the 300gig plan.
bad move for people like us who don't pass our 75gig plan. |

bad move for people like us who don't pass our 75gig plan. The throughput (in megabits per second) is in some respects more relevant now than the gig usage. Unless you're talking about unlimited, where people use the connection enough to potentially trigger really high costs. |

I thought it was the other way around. |
