Indy | The att 7550 uses different terms for DMZ they are:
static nat
or
ip pass-through
If you use ip pass-through you must renew the ip address on the selected device

The Netgear 7550 has a DMZ option under Firewall settings. It will ask you to select the LAN device that you wish to share the Public IP with. This configuration is used a lot for gaming especially with the PS3.
Be aware that setting up DMZ will open all ports to that device so it could cause a security threat for you depending on what you set up DMZ for. Sometimes doing port forwarding is a little more secure even if it is a little more tedious.
