 | Cisco 3825 in bridge mode, router wireless is not stable? Hey,
Just got this modem/router from Rogers and I want to use my own router so I had put this modem into bridge mode and then connected my router to port 1 on the modem without changing any other settings.
My wireless connection seems to be unstable and not as fast.
Someone know what other settings I need to change in router or modem to get stable fast internet?
Basically I want to use the modem as modem and use my own router.
Thanks. |

| If you're getting a good connection while you're hardwired with ethernet, but not when you're wireless than it's an issue with the wireless capabilities of your router.
What kind of router are you using, and which internet tier are you subscribed to? |

| reply to awaisuk If you are using a Netgear router, there have been issues regarding wireless cutting out and signal degredation (especially on 2.4GHz) on some models. It's a known issue according to the Netgear forums and there still haven't been any firmware fixes yet.
I have a DPC3825 in bridge mode, a Netgear router WNDR3700v2 and have those wireless issues. |

 | reply to awaisuk The router I am using is buffalo wzr hp g300nh router. It is on default settings for wireless.
On wired connection, conneciton is really fast, but wireless is not that fast.
Speedtest on wired is 60mbps and wireless around 20mbps |
