| Need prepaid mobile hotspot (mifi) suggestions. My VirginMobile mifi 2200 died last night. It won't turn off and it won't hard reset with the paper clip. Same after leaving the battery out for 5 hours.
The coverage and speeds weren't very good, but we only used it a few times a year going to grandma's house. We would love better coverage and speed, but we don't want to pay all year.
We need a replacement quick. What service should I be looking at? What devices? The 4G-only stuff is not appropriate.
Main areas of use are coastal FL and rural IN.

We went to the VZW store and bought the prepaid 4G mifi. (I didn't know VZ did prepaid!) It's more $$, but we'll appreciate the speed and coverage. It's worth it as long as we're not paying when we're not using it. |
