There's a haste/mastery gun and a haste/mastery 1H str sword. No toys, just BoA weapons. |

I completely forgot! where you do find them again? or you have to do something special to make them spawn? |

I wish I had more time for Arch as well. The Mantid items sound very intriguing. Seems to take forever to level. |

said by Phantasee:Seems to take forever to level. Levelling archaeology in MoP goes MUCH MUCH faster now - you get skillups now just for digging up a fragment, whereas you used to only get skillups for completing an artifact. My main had archaeology at about 400 when MoP hit, within a couple of weeks he was at 600 without any real effort on my part, just occasional digging if I happened to be in a digsite. |

They're lvl 85 to equip, ilvl 463. If you managed to get some of the MoP BoA before 5.2, you could actually upgrade them with JP. So when/if the upgrade vendor returns, you can upgrade these as well.
And yes, Arch is much easier to skill up now. Every dig you do gives you a skill up, and all the artifacts gives you skillup points. Took me less than a week flying around while queued for LFR.
The best thing is that you can totally skip Outland/northrend/Cataclysm archaeology areas. Then once you hit 525, do Pandaria ones. You can crate the Pandaria artifacts and turn them in for crates of fragments for the other races, just not Pandaren/Mogu/Mantid. you'll also occasionally find "pristine" artifacts, which start a quest that nets you several crated artifacts and a few keystones for that race. Just keep in mind that you can't actually use the fragment crates until you hit 600.
Also, you'll occasionally spawn a sha when surveying that you can kill for some more fragments, generally Mogu from my experience. |
