Every so often I check out my cable modems signal and whats floating around in the logsNoticed something in logs I have never seen before. "US: WatchDog: BD 0 stuck for 20 Sec (LastTxTime=89DA45 Info:2001) Trying to recover (#1) ... "Goggled the Watchdog BD didn't find anything really. Now I noticed after logging in on my TW account I now show usage. Is that what Watchdog is used for? Charts was always 0 usage for last 8 months I have had service with them.So far this month I have used 60 gigs. Seems a little high to me but I have a 1 hour time frame that I used 49 gigs. Don't think that is even possible on a Standard RR connection.
60GB in 7 days is a fair amount of data. With my 75/5 connection through TWC, we only average 80-130 gb a month.
"Watchdog" most likely refers to a watchdog timer, a process on the modem that runs some kind of timed check on itself. These are usually employed to catch crashes and lockups:»en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watchdog_timerThis suggests your modem was having a bad time, but doesn't seem directly relevant to your bandwidth meter.
