kudos:5 | NFL pkg not for 1 team fans I never got the allure of the NFL package. I like NFL football, but basically follow my home team(the Eagles) until playoff time. And all those playoff games are free and on the main network channels. So even if it is available elsewhere, besides DirecTV, I won't be subscribing.

| Thats fine and well but if you were out of market for your home team, how much would you be willing to pay for watching your team ? For me I would pay damn near any price with in reason to be able to follow my team.
However since I am not in the situation, the Sunday Ticket doesnt really do anything for me. I used to have it, and honestly watched it little. The best games (for the most part) are already on national TV. The best bet would be to stop the exclusive with the NFL....let everyone on in the deal, and have each provider charge what they need to charge for it. There is still a market for the Ticket, but the exclusive is just getting to be too expensive unless you are the true out of market fan.

cable wanted 1 team plans in the past and the NFL did not really like that idea.
If we end the exclusive part maybe some one can offer some think like the rogers super sports pack. |

For people who have moved from their home areas(like all those in Northern cities) to places like Florida & Arizona, a 1 team plan that could be subscribed to would be very popular.

I personally like the patriots and Titans, usually the titans fall out before playoffs (i know, they suck atm, but maybe in a couple years).. But there is a limit to what i'd pay to watch all the games of both teams... Theres just a cutt off for the sake of reason... Not to mention other crap i'd rather do with the money.. If i'm priced out of enjoying the games, heck with it all. I'll move on |
