uverse tv self install

I've had the internet portion of uverse for several years now, but currently am interested in getting tv. Am I correct in thinking that I can do a self installation? Specifically if I get the wireless receivers?

I tried to go through our ordering system and add TV to a cx's acc that was FTTN (with 1 dvr and 1 wireless receiver) but the only option was FTI - Full Tech Install

Wireless or not.. TV to my understanding is always a PRO install.

Yes and No. Existing TV customers can add receivers (wired or wireless) and have the CSI option. However, new TV customer's must pay for a FTI.
