 | Was Knology now WOW. Should I be concerned? We have been using knology for about 10 years. Rock solid here in Alabama. Now, I find out that they have been bought by WOW. Based on the reviews, I'm concerned. We had no throttling, good speeds and ROCK SOLID uptime. Can I get some information on how WOW is in terms of support (am I calling Mumbai?), uptime, oversubscription, speed, etc.. I am more interested in the internet aspect - not so much tv. |

 | Things should remain same, and as far as I remember CS is in Colorado, not outsourced, or at least it wasn't when I had them a few years ago. |

WOW does "some" outsourcing but it's here in the states I believe and it's "overflow" to ensure call times are handled within their metrics during possible busy periods. |

 | reply to mommydba So far, we've been underwhelmed. Frequent outages creating dropped phone calls, frozen Internet, audio distortion on cable service. Helpless technicians patrolling the area looking for poachers siphoning signal strength. Just a bad situation, and the cost went up $15 per month. |
