I was activated on March 7 - only down for a few minutes for the change over. The first day my download speed was about 2400 (just like my ATT dsl with the upload doubled to about 800. I talked to a second level tech the next day and he was not able to increase my download speed. Over the weekend, I noticed that my computer was crawling and the speed test indicated a download of only about 1200 with no reduction in upload speed. Today, I am back a little higher to slightly over 2100. Does the "dsl computer in the sky" continually adjust settings to optimize the speed?

The line does undergo automated adjustments for line stability, but that usually wouldn't cause your speed to dip down to 1200 and then bounce back to 2100. Send me an IM with your account info? I suspect there may be something else going on here.
