Re: [DSL] NEW RATES - Telussaid by KaylaIT:Thanks for the update Marc, I just checked Telus' website and they are charging $80/month for the 50Mb package, is there a date for the final rate revision? If we still wanted to order it would it be available and just not advertised? Reason I ask is I really want the extra upload and to do the same with MLPPP will be about $200.
Randal right now I'm thinking it would be: 50 mbps300 Gigs - $84.99 Unlimited - $99.99 if you think it's worth throwing up there.. I can do that. |

if you think it's worth throwing up there.. I can do that. While it would be nice to have something a little better price-wise, I'd still switch back based on the availability of this package. |

Hi Marc
Yep if you can put it up that would be great, hopefully the price will drop but if not that is ok too.
Thanks

(based on how the other rates lowered). *eagerly awaiting the new pricing. I may have to settle for 25Mbps at the moment... Thanks Marc, and cheers! |

Can you come up with more cap options? I would only be using 700gb a month. Just a small request. |

Is the 50 Mb speed going to be offered only on one line, or with 2 bonded lines as well (like telus does with the V2000H). I'd rather buy one modem only. |

Hi marc, now that business rates from crtc (telus) are dictated to be closer to parity with residential, and they are essentially the same service, then will we see the changes in pricing from teksavvy for this to be closer to residential rates? thanks. |

We are not there yet, we are going to look at those as well. |

According to the papers I got today it looks like in the cost studies they are going bonded lines. As for "real" cost I have no idea but they are asking the CRTC for a $46.91 wholesale rate. |

thanks andyb. I subscribed to the 25 plan for the time being. Hopefully 50 (25x2) will be available sometimes down the road. |
