[DSL] Unusable service for 4 months now.

OK, I have had an account with DSL Extreme since November of last year and have had nothing but problems with my connection. I have been through countless hours with tech support, levels 1 and 2 and although they have been very helpful, I haven't had usable service since day 1. I have had my service downgraded from 3mbs to 1.5 since I am too far from the DSLAM to get the higher speed and have had Verizon tech support come to my apartment 3 times to check the line and have not found any problems with it. They are scheduled to come to my apartment again this Thursday to yet again test my line. I have paid for 3 months of service and am unable to stay online for any length of time without losing speed and sync. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau, since I need to have some type of internet connection and DSL Extreme won't release me from the contract without a $250.00 early termination fee. I am truly disgusted at this point I have spent countless hours and days trying to get this resolved and have stayed home from work to give Verizon tech access to my line for testing. I have done everything that they have asked me to do and feel that if they can't provide the service that I have contracted from them and they can't get it working within the past 4 months, they should do the right thing and reimburse me for the money I have spent for their service and cancel the contract without an early termination fee. I think I have been more than patient and have given them every opportunity to amend this issue. I just want a decent reliable internet connection and have wasted 4 months trying to acquire this from them with no satisfaction and have been using my 4G phone connection as an wireless access point to have any type of connection at a great cost to me.

I read through the notes on your ticket. The last two times Verizon dispatched out, they weren't able to access your phone box. Both times, they reported that they tried to call to gain access but didn't get an answer. I also see where you mentioned that the apartment manager is the one that needs to grant access to the phone box; perhaps it would be better to get his number and give that to Verizon to gain access to the box? If you have that number, please feel free to shoot me an IM with it and I'll pass that on to Verizon for the dispatch.
