| I'd say for now, call in or go to the direct forum instead until the website & myworld portals are all updated and in line with the new systems. | reply to TSI Marc So let me get this straight in laymen's terms... Basically once the POI I'm on gets upgraded, my package will automatically switch to new plan?
i.e. in my case I'm on 18M/512k now, it will automatically become 25M/2M? And all I need is replace my modem with a DOCSIS 3?
And dumb question, if I don't upgrade my modem, will I still get the faster uplink? Frankly I'm actually OK with my down speed, just the up speed gets me sometimes, kills my VPN connection to work if I have anything else running. |

Once your POI has been moved to the aggregated POI your package and everything stays the same as its always been. Until you call in to change to a new package. In effect you will have been grandfathered.
But yes, once you call in to move to a higher tier package, you will likely need a Docsis 3.0 modem to take advantage of the higher speed tier. -- ----|- From the mind located in the shadows of infinity -|---- Nine.Zero.Burp.Nine.Six Twitter = Twizted Zero Chat = irc.teksavvy.ca |

|
 | reply to TwiztedZero But I see for 2Mbps uplink only a DOCSIS 2.0 is required? |

| said by TSI Marc:25/2 mbps (ATPIA) - DOCSIS 3 modem required 300 Gigs - $39.95 Unlimited - $59.95 According to Marc you will need to ditch that D2 modem and upgrade to a D3, which I agree is a solid move.

How's the car? -- Tom |

 | Yeah... and a new modem too. Guess I'll need to hunt for a deal.
Car's doing fine, haven't driven much these days though, just the usual chores. |

Can we upgrade via email? Hi Marc, would it be possible to upgrade using our teksavvy email? That way there we could get upgraded without the long holds. Using the teksavvy email, it would be confirmation of the account holder. Would just need an email back when done.
