I do understand they may be working on it, but we could use an update.. It's been past 24 hours since the switchover and still loads of people can't update their speed, and new orders if something on the backend isn't correcting them will likely end up with the old speeds or orders being turned away by Rogers due to the old speeds no longer being offered for new customers for APOI areas..

It just seems abnormally long, for something that should be simple (I would think)

I put in my order yesterday morning VIA TSI Direct, and I was informed 30 minutes later that the order was submitted.

But I just got an email at 1:30pm saying:
"Your change of service request has been received and has been processed."

I'm guessing this does NOT mean that Rogers has completed their work. Can anyone confirm?

No. What happened is that Direct placed the change of service order to have one of our Order Processors push it to Rogers.

What that means is that this morning, Order Processing pushed it to Rogers.

I submitted by York Mills speed upgrade yesterday using myworld. I didn't get an email after submitting it. and myworld doesn't note that I made any change. I hope it went through. When will I know?

Time to transfer everyone from 28/1 or below to 25/2 automatically? That way everyone benefits. I bet you a lot of people don't know about the new ATPIA speeds. Would be a great move for Teksavvy to do this automatically. I think it'd be a great customer service move.

Btw I just did a speed change request on Teksavvy My World. Might need to update the website to say that the speed change is free now, and that it doesn't cost $5.

They just changed my speed a few hours ago...

I did submitted my upgrade on Monday and got the processing email on Tuesday.

During the speed changed I wasn't aware of any disconnection or noticed. It just simply upgraded to the new speeds.

I've explained this before... We are explicitly denied to do that. They will not bulk transfer them all.

1 thing that would be nice, would be that immediately after putting in a portal change request, it would show up on the Portal Requests page in the portal, even if it hasn't been reviewed/submitted yet by Teksavvy.

We just updated for Brampton in anticipation for tonight's migration.

For York mills. It turns out that much of the postal codes are buggered up. We are trying to clean up the data we received but its a more involved process.

Marc, after putting in a request via the portal, how long does it usually take to get an email that you've submitted it to Rogers?

Marc, will the direct forum or phone be able to help out, or are they on the same database as the site?

Send a PM to Andre. He can check your postal code if its not showing up in MyWorld and you think it should be.

Everything uses the same database.

It depends. Usually within 24 hours but Andre would have a better idea.

Is it possible to request the speed change via MyWorld tonight in anticipation for tomorrow? or will we have to wait until tomorrow?

Awesome. Another POI bites the TPIA dust.

So where does that leave us to go from here? Are the dates below still valid because previously you said "past that it's looking like there will be delays to June 15th~ish. more to follow as I get more info."

May 20 - Scarlett
June 3 - Dupont
June 10 - Kitchener

June 17 - Greensboro
June 24 - Bloor

Is there any chance we can update the first post with the schedule when we know more? We understand that it's not a binding commitment, we're just all curious.

Once you get your next 10 GigE link installed on June 15th, will the kitchener POI follow shortly thereafter? I'm eager for some 35/3 or 45/4 action.
