 | Looks like devices will be locked later this year then. Current LTE devices on 700Mhz are not sim locked because of rules when they bought the 700Mhz spectrum.
700Mhz = not sim locked
1700 or 2100 = sim locks will be back |

 | Perfect timing in light of the Library of Congress deciding the consumer can not legally unlock his phone, except with the carrier's blessing. -- The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits. |

That sucks, I hope they have plans to add more towers then. I can't even get 4G in most buildings NOW. -- "I drank what?" -Socrates |

Between TG and Christmas last year i tried a droid. I could only get one or no bars LTE at my home. This was not usable i returned the phone and went back to my old 3g iPhone. I get a full / decent 3g signal. LTE needs more work in this area. |

 pflogBueller? Bueller?Premium,MVM join:2001-09-01 El Dorado Hills, CA kudos:3 | My only direct comparison was in December of 2011. I had a Galaxy Nexus and when I went to my in-laws in NE Pennsylvania, I had a marginal LTE signal. Going into their house (or basically any other structure), I'd drop to 3G. People joked that it's because my in-laws' house had aluminum siding (read: faraday cage) and that was why, but in the same place I had marginal 3G signal on the Nexus I had a weak (but usable and much faster than 3G) 4G signal on the HTC Rezound. -- "I drank what?" -Socrates |
