[E-Mail] Question about spam filter

I just can't figure out why I keep getting all this spam. I emailed support a week or so ago and got a call from tech support, but the suggestion was to look for an unsubscribe from list on the email (which wasn't very helpful).

I have spam control set to medium, add spam to my junk folder (is that what I'm supposed to do so the filter can recognize spam?)

For example, I just got an email for pills that is sent to like, 50 recipients. It's got words like 'medication' and 'libido'. Shouldn't that trip the spam filter? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any suggestions.

You might want to switch to Gmail and be done with it.

The @insightbb addresses will be probably be going away when the TWC is complete. So you will have to change anyway.

Gmail has awesome spam filtering. I used to get no spam, but right after sharing my email with unsophisticated coworkers (it was necessary for a work project), I started getting spam aplenty. About 10 per day.

No doubt, the coworkers in question have either Android phones crapped up with free trash apps that make use of all contacts on the phone, or home computers that are spyware infected.

Anyway, Gmail catches essentially all of the spam. Still, it is a pain in the butt to check the spam folder every day and at least read the subject lines before deleting them.
