To get HBO, you will need a cable box with Mediacoms cable card. Wether it is leased by Mediacom ($10.50/Mo), or something like TiVo with a Mediacom Cable Card in it ($1.99/Mo plus the upfront cost of the TiVo). -- The bitterness of poor quality lingers longer than the sweetness of low cost.
