Software Mixer?

Anyone know of any semi-decent freeware mixer that can combine two port into one virtual port? As an example, combining stereo-mix with a microphone input combined together to be seen by the PC as a single input.

That's already the purpose of "stereo mix", to combine the Windows audio and mic input.

If you have a USB microphone and you set an audio input to "stereo mix", it will not listen to the audio input of the microphone at all.

ahh...that's different. "Stereo Mix" or "what you hear" applies only to the inputs of the audio chipset. If you are using a USB input, that is not using the audio chipset, it's treated as a seperate audio chipset.

In any case, I've not seen what you are asking for, it may or may not exist, I don't know.

In any case, the easy fix is to simply use a standard mic (ie: 3.5mm jack).
