I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but those apps you got for free that have ads in them? That's why you got the app for free.

The developers of the app are paid percentages by the ad. So yeah, you're 'sticking it to the man' and also killing the developer.

I really don't give a shit. If the app is worth money, I will give them money. I block ads system wide on my mobile and on my network. I pay for that bandwidth and I decide that I am not displaying ads.

I'd rather have 100% paid apps on the play store and NO FUCKING ADS.

More like "free", because many people have limited monthly cell data bandwidth.
