Re: Most played game

Subspace is definitely the game I had the most time invested into. Something like 7 years in total with over 11,000 hours. Granted, a good chunk of that was afk, but most of it was active time spent in the game.

Aside from that.. umm... nothing else really comes close. And I don't think I'll ever be that invested in a game again.

251.5833333333333 days in game....wow. Hope there's some 'leave the game running, but not playing' time in there.

I really don't want to see what my wife's /played is on WoW on just a single toon, but I'm pretty sure she crushes that record.

On Steam? TF2, about 70 hours...

Ever? Probably a tie between Mechwarrior 2, Mechwarrior 2 Mercs and Baldur's gate 2.

It's somewhere in the thousands.
But Baldur's Gate is overtaking it as I've moved on to MW3, 4 and now MWO in the Mechwarrior series... while for Baldur's Gate 2, I am still replaying it over and over from time to time.

I'm almost speechless. The fact that anyone can play L4D that amount of hours. Those games are alright for about 20 maybe 30 hours max. And that's pushin' it.

6,000+ hours? You must love monotony.

285 days in WoW for me.

Same here. I've probably got well over 300+ days on WoW. Nothing compares.

Close seconds would be some console games.....

Ratchet and Clank series. I've got months of game time in those.

Dynasty Warriors back in the day. My god, I played the shit outta Lu Bu and whooped some ass. Good old button mashing fun.

A few hundred hours is a far cry from 6,000+

Yes, but that was in 3 months from the day he bought it. If someone got the game when it came out and did the same it could happen.

I'm at 210 of those 285 on my Priest. Since hitting 90 on the 9th I've logged over 3 days on her. I don't want to think about what my /played will be when I leave Okinawa 2 years from now...but I reckon it'll be around 400 days.

Edit: Blackmorgrim from www.howtopriest.com has 574 days /played on his Priest. That shit's cray.

WoW would have to be the one that has eaten up the most time, with Starcraft 1 being a runner-up for me. Damn youse, Blizzard, for making quality products!

Probably chex quest. I played it for about 8 hours a day for about 4 months in the 90's.

Wow, talk about going back haha. That brings back memories.

For me, I'd say WoW @ close to 60 days over multiple characters.
Next would be Mass Effect 1 - I think my last save said something around 300+ hours

My most current would be Halo 4 @ 6 days played...

I've lately really not had much urge to do more than netflix when I get home lol

Well. Most time logged probably EQ. One sitting....22 hours straight on Everquest back in 2001. We actually played in shifts for a couple of days at one point.

WoW is at about ~1200 hours I think.
GW2 is at ~620 hours I think.
SC1 would then be next in line... maybe 500hours+

nothing else even comes close

SC1 best game of all time

Ive cut back on my gaming and now play WoW as a casual ( new for me mid exp used to goin casual @ end when Im tired of raiding) and GW2 (got it for $20 so why not) I recently upgraded from 2xGTX260's in SLi to a GTX 670 + 260 (purely Physx card) setup
I plan to get my BM:AS back to the final boss (Joker) and kill him this time aswell as a rerun of Q4 as a Lieutenant. Maybe complete DS but who knows I dont like having the bejesus scarred out of me

Borderlands: 1095 hours
Borderlands 2: 741 hours
Skyrim: 611 hours
Left 4 Dead: 214 hours
Left 4 Dead 2: 273 hours

X Beyond the Frontier / X-Tension / X2 - The Threat / X3 - Reunion / X3 - Terran Conflict: More than all other games combined. Probably close to 5000 hours between all the games, but the majority in X-Tension.

Without a doubt WoW.

I have no idea the number of hours (and its probably better that way). But I've been playing it since release 8+years ago with only a few breaks here and there.

Aside from that? Probably goldeneye on the N64. Logged a lot of hours on that one too.

Angry Birds doesn't count as a game.

Angry Birds is what you fire up on your phone to babysit your two-year-old so you can play real video games.

1. Age of Empires II
2. Starcraft I
3. Sim City 2000/4
4. Age of Empires I
5. Eve Online
6. StarCraft II

Probably in that order.

I played Dune on DOS for hours too, but can't remember how much since I was kicked in the head by a pony at age 9 and have forgotten everything before that time.

1. Age of Empires II (played non-stop from 2000 to 2005, then spoaradically played the later part of 2005 and 2006. Done by 2007).
2. Internet Checkers (yeah the version that came with Windows XP - played this when I wasn't playing AoE II from 2002 to 2007 non-stop)
3. Counter Strike Source - started playing in 2005 when AoE II's multiplayer started getting hacked and sucking. Stopped playing when I graduated college and the ping times sucked off campus. Sometime around 2009.

Wow is the game I have played the most. just over 400 days played across all my toons. 300 on the main alone.

After Wow I would have to say the GTA IV. I have played it pretty consistently since it came out. Sometimes just driving around listening to my custom radio station. Not necessarily mowing down pedestrians either. Literally just driving around.

More recent game that I have played a ton is Skyrim. 225 hours played according to Steam.
