[DVR] Multi Room DVR Problem - Louisville, KY
I am having an issue with Insights Multi Room DVR. I currently have two DVR boxes, one in my living room and one in my bedroom. With the storage unit attached to the living room unit. When I access my DVR recordings in the living room, it shows 78% full and list the recorded media as it should. When I access my DVR recordings in the bedroom it also shows 78% full, however does NOT list all the recordings the living room unit does. For example: living room unit shows a series recording of a half hour show, states there are 12 shows recorded. Bedroom shows only 7 shows recorded for the same show. What can I do?

Truck Roll to resetup the system, could be several issues.

Have you tried to powercycle the boxes? Hold the power button on the DVR storage unit, with both of your DVRs turned off. Then, try to turn the DVRs back on. Sometimes, this worked for me. I had the multiroom DVR through Insight for about a year. It was nice, but a little buggy at times. Try to powercycle the device first. When you hold the power button, it will turn orange, then start to flash really fast. See if that gets you anywhere first.

Thank you for your help. I tried what you said. I also tried shutting down everything (all Boxes and DVR Unit) still no luck. Now it's doing something else. For example I will access the DVR from my bedroom and it will list a tv show I have recorded. It will list 5 listings for that show. I will start watching one of the recordings. In the middle of watching the show will stop and a message will pop up saying DVR unavailable. When the DVR starts working again three of the five recordings will be gone. However all five show in my living room. I just don't understand. I have called insight, they can offer no help.
