| Are the glory days of ethanol in America now behind it? »www.nytimes.com/2013/03/17/us/17···nted=all
I've been using ethanol free premium fuels for over 6 months now since I found a local station on a website that others here have linked to recently called »www.pure-gas.org . I tried the ethanol free premium based on a suggestion from a friend who has a Corvette, and even with the "seat dyno" I was impressed. I went and got some new dyno runs done, and the next day had a re-tune done and picked up about 9 HP in the top, torque was almost the same, maybe 1-2 lb more. If I stop at a station that uses ethanol now my car will throw on the CEL with a few different codes... -- Ich habe kein Mitleid - Me You're a daisy if you do. - Doc Holliday And as always, have nice day. |

| reply to mob Congress set out to create an ethanol industry that would produce enough to make up 10 percent of every gallon of gas pumped into a car, but the lawmakers assumed that demand for fuel would grow. Instead, it has shrunk to 8.7 million barrels a day from 9.7 million in 2007,... Idiots and their pork... |
