 | W.O.W Support for HDMI CEC Do W.O.W. devices support Consumer Electronics Control (CEC)? The allows control of other HDMI devices through one remote. For example, I'm running the output of my WOW Explorer 8300HDC to my Yamaha V673 A/V Reciever, then to my Toshiba HDTV. All three are connected with HDMI cables. If CEC is supported, then I should be able to control the volume of the Reciever with the WOW remote, without switching back and forth between AUD and CABLE. |

 | All you need to do is program the remote to control aud when the volume is pushed. |

I do not believe CEC is supported on the 8300HDC, but as the above poster has stated, you should be able to program the WOW remote to control the volume on the receiver. If you're looking for a setup that supports CEC in a situation where maybe you don't have line of sight to the receiver, the Ultra TV media players are HDMI 1.3 and do support CEC.
