| [DSL] MI/IN Congestion Issues - News! If you have DSL in Michigan (and possibly as far as Indiana), I found out something that could be causing a lot of our slowdowns.
This weekend is the spring business expo in Grass Lake. Both Bill S. (Brooklyn office) and Dave H. (new to Stockbridge office) let me know there's a big issue near Muskegon that should be resolved the end of March/early April. There's some sort of bottleneck that's been choking traffic and the equipment to fix that should be installed soon. I didn't get too detailed since I wouldn't have understood most of the jargon.
I did find out our MUX at Reithmiller/Mt. Hope will never see bonded. I guess it's just too expensive for too few homes. TOTALLY bummed. 
Bill S. did say there's no reason why my house shouldn't see 7Mbps, so he's going to check on it Monday and call me back. I sure hope to hear something because 7mb would make a big difference, especially since my husband has discovered Netflix. Do'h! |
