I have a WNDR4500, firmware version 1.0.1.20_1.0.40 and am looking to disable Statefull packet inspection (SPI). I looked throughout the UI and cannot seem to find a setting to disable this function. Other simpler routers have the ability to easily disable this....so I am a little puzzled with this reasonably higher end home router. Appreciate any insights.
I've got my 4500 in stand-by and I'm on my 3700. Check under WAN, there should be a check box there too, or, from the submenu select WAN Setup. Check the Disable SPI Firewall box.
