[TV] Rogers Analog Cable + Digital Box Help Pls

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have rogers analog cable services and most of the channels have dropped so rogers gave out these free dtv boxes that you hook up to the tv to continue getting the channels offerered.

The only problem I have is that these boxes are slow to change channels like really slow (my tv was faster) when it was connected directly, and box seems glitchy. I was wondering if I bought a standard def rogers DIGITAL CABLE box, can I use it for the analog service, instead of that small crappy DTV box I have now?

Like one of those scientific atlanta rogers boxes? or is this only for digital cable and not able to use it on my tv? I figure this box would work better then the current one.

thanks

Ree

Yes, you can use one of their other boxes in place of the free one they gave out. I'd recommend renting one before you buy one though -- they aren't exactly fast to change the channel either, so you may find you just want to stick to the free box if you can handle the glitching.
