[Troubles] need help with windstream lag

we have had an latency outage for about a month now when i first called they said they had people working on the problem they said there was a defective part along the wiring and had to replace it the part has been ordered and they are waiting for it to be replaced... i call a week later same thing... i call today and now they are saying they are working on upgrading all their georgia clients to new equipment and won't be servicing my area for the year of 2013.... i can't understand how any company would let a whole year go by knowing that they aren't servicing a ton of people the way they should... the pings ms spikes so high throughout the day netflix constantly buffers the internet drops in and out ... i was wondering if someone could keep me updated on this issue? and also take a look at my gateways specs to see if anything can be done to make it any better for me? i make money off the internet from hobbies such as gaming youtube and selling clothing that i make... and it's been a real hassle as of late to do these things... so if anyone could help i'd appreciate it! thanks!

More bad news as the CEO said in an interview that they weren't going to do do much more after 2013

Their focus in 2014 is not in serving customers but in making more money for their shareholders by taking advantage of people who have no other options for service.
