[Qwest] How to protect ethernet ports by assigning mac address.

I am having an issue with my ether net as i have 4 ports to my wireless router And I have 2 PC is connected to it. but it is possible for anyone to just plug in one lan cable into the port and access the internet how can i prevent it

Check the Security Section of your router and see if it has an option for an Access Control List. There you would enter the MAC address for each device that is authorized to use your network.

Another option would be to lock the router in a room or closet to prevent physical access to the device.

thanks for the reply there is facility for WIFI given in the setup but nothing I could found regarding ether net ports..
