been losing connection at different times. i have a comtrend ct-5072t modem and the adsl light will start blinking when connection is lost. i've been unplugging both power and phone line many time to re-connect. sometimes it comes back by itself. modem itself is a little warm.

Modem being warm isn't alarming (it's designed to shed its internally-generated heat, as long as it has sufficient ventilation), but ADSL light definitely shouldn't be dropping sync light that. Send me an IM with your account info?
