Hi all.Anyone have experience uploading a Verisign SSL cert to said wireless controller for guest access? We had an unchained Thawte cert that expired and we want to put a Verisign cert on it. I don't know much about Cisco products. But know a thing or two about SSL certs. We're on software version 7.0.230.I built the certificate chain based on information in this URL:»www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6···92.shtmlHowever, many devices are getting SSL Cert is invalid. IE 8 especially. But it is not limited to IE 8. We've got IE 10 having problems and some S3's having problems. Firefox seems to be generally happy.
Holy freakin' Toledo, Batman. What a pain in the rear end these controllers are. Finally, after about 4 hours of tinkering, we were able to get the chained certificate working.
Care to share?
Hi Marky. The URL in my OP has the link necessary to make it all happen. Our problem was making extra sure our intermediate and root certificates were the correct ones and in the file in the proper order.
