Still being charged modem rental fee

Well, I received the typical bad Mediacom customer service from the regular "non social network" service group as expected. MediacomChad, back in Feb 21 when I asked you to send me a box to return my rented modem, because I just provisioned my own modem I also asked if you would give me a credit on my bill for the rental that was from 2/21 - 3/20. You said the credit wouldn't be applied until the warehouse received the returned equipment. Well, Mediacom received it on 3/1 and I have proof, but alas my new bill just arrived and there is no credit and I'm still being billed the rental fee.

There was plenty of time between when they received it and the latest billing date to apply the necessary changes to my account. I even placed instructions in the box that I shipped that explained that I was now using my own modem and returning the rental modem and to apply credit to my account.

Got your PM. So, why did it take 18 days to change the account? Seems like a long time to make such a simple change.

I am not aware of why it took as long as it did, but the issue has been resolved, and the billing will reflect this as well.
