can I 100% turn off the need for a PIN ?Our household is just me and my wife; 2 adults. I want to set up FIOS TV so we never need a PIN.
Settings -> Parental Controls is OFF.
But certain things still say a PIN is needed, and that a d*%# "Parental Control PIN" must be created, e.g.
Customer Support ->My Acccount ->View My Bill & Customer Support ->My Acccount ->View Messages.
Is there any way to created an unrestricted, PIN-free environment ?

You know what, i just realized you want to access sensitive material... You do need to setup a PIN for that... Sorry buddy, totally didn't notice that. |

You want a pin. Doesn't have to be complicated if it just you two. You don't have to block anything in parental controls just have a pin. YOU do want to block purchases so you don't make any accidental purchases, Hitting Buttons several times in a row when STB not responding could accidentally do a purchase. |

1 2 3 4 is a great pin, it's also the pin to the air shield and my luggage. |

I simply use 0000. As someone else mentioned, it prevents accidental ordering. |
