I found the chimney with newspaper is quite easy to get a good bed of coals started. But there definitely is more work between setting up and cleanup afterwards. |

I put the element in the chimney, pour the charcoal or brickets over the element, and once they're all glowing red hot I take out the element and off I go. It's, by far, the fastest method I've found. No dealing with paper, lighters, fluids, etc. |
