No customer should be treated like that, big or small.
When I left AT&T, it was a major "relief" to finally be able to handle customers the way I wanted to, and not have to deal with some bureaucracy.
At this point, I'd be tearing into somebody.
If someone refers to herself / himself as a "guru", they probably aren't.
