The other day, ABC evening news assured me we had an unusually warm winter (2 degrees above average). My desire is to see Connecticut habitable for palm trees before dying. Until then, I'll need to own a snowblower.

Finally getting up to where we should be for this time of year by the weekend!!!! You know it's bad when I'm excited over 50 degrees in the forecast!

kudos:1 | The freezer door [AO index] is swinging shut [is going positive, or at least less negative], now that the freezer [the Arctic, especially west Greenland and Baffin Bay] is starting to defrost. It should get less unusually warm up there as it gets warmer down here.
The GFS is starting to show a couple of spells of 60+ degree weather early next month. |
