Water heater leaking....

.......only lasted from mid 1999 till last weekend, this is BS .

Yes It's a joke . I put it in when we put in the pellet stove for heat, oil is nuts price wise. I hacked it all in, never drained/flushed it, never changed anode rod.

But after the last few posts on WH's ....We spent under $200(38gal short) in 99. So it payed off.

My house has two 38 gallon short water heaters. One was from 1985 and the other is from 2003. I just bought the place in November. Got the 1985 model replaced under the home warranty because it wasn't putting out hot water for more than a 5 minute shower. The thing was ready to just bust loose at any moment according to the plumber.

So put me on a highway, and show me a sign.
And take it to the limit one more time...

What did you buy this time? Cost?

Mine is from 1998 and likely living on borrowed time. Not sure how I should line my cards up for "the big day"...

Whirlpool 38-Gallon 6-Year Lowboy Electric Water Heater. Same as last time, IIRC.

Going tankless propane once $$ is found to finish bathroom(did kitchen; blew budget last year )
