I never had a laptop before so I am new at this. How does a battery last in a laptop? I will use it on a airplane watching dvds. The battery that came with is a 5200 mAH battery. -- Caddy
reply to Caddyroger If a six cell battery, watching a DVD you'd expect to get at least 3 hours. I doubt any more then 4 hours. Watch a DVD drains the battery pretty quick. As I read, they also have an optional nice cell battery. I'd expect you'd get 4.5 hours from that.
I think you should be fine on a coast to coast flight or at least for an entire movie.

if you tweak the brightness on the laptop down, you can prolly squeeze a bit more time.. a larger battery isnt a bad idea tho for a long flight, and you`d have the orig as a spare
